Melissani Lake Cave, Greece 





Melissani Cave Lake is near Kefalonia, Greece. It is a hidden treasure in Greece, which was discovered in 1953. Lake is surrounded by dense forest with cliffs - high cliffs that looked gahar. 
The name is taken from the name Melissani turns Greek goddess, Melissanthe. According to mythology, the goddess is immersed himself in the lake and killed when invited to have sex by one of the Greek gods, namely Pan.
